How Werveo plans to separate shopper recommendations from referral monetization.

Last updated: August 21, 2026

Werveo is being developed as a free-to-shopper Purchase Decision Engine. Some outbound retailer links may be affiliate links. If a shopper clicks an eligible link or completes a qualifying purchase, Werveo may receive a referral fee or commission from the retailer, affiliate network or other partner.

Ranking and monetization are separate

Werveo's intended customer-ranking methodology selects the offer based on shopper value and available evidence. Affiliate commission, earnings per click or other monetization data is not intended to determine the customer-facing winning offer.

If the same retailer can be monetized through more than one valid affiliate route, Werveo may choose a monetization route after the retailer itself has already been selected.

Some outbound links may be routed through affiliate networks or link-management providers. These routing services may redirect the shopper to the retailer while attributing an eligible referral to Werveo.

Non-affiliate offers

A retailer does not need to have an affiliate relationship with Werveo to be eligible to win a comparison. If a non-affiliate retailer is the best verified option among the sources checked, it may still be displayed or recommended.

Third-party terms

Retailer prices, stock, shipping, promotions and program eligibility can change. The retailer's website and checkout terms control the final transaction.
